Hey Plugheads — today I’ve got something special for you. I stumbled upon this little plugin kind of randomly… and since then, it’s become one of my favorite secret weapons in the studio.
It’s called PALO, developed by Urban Kits, and if you’re into reggaeton, dembow, dancehall, or trapeton, you’re going to love what it brings to the table.

PALO is a collection of 8 drum kits specifically designed with Latin-inspired rhythms in mind. Don’t be fooled by the simple look — this thing is packed with creativity.
Each kit features your essentials: kicks, snares, hi-hats, percussions, and vocal chants, all super punchy and ready to drop into your beats. What really impressed me is that each pad has its own individual output, so you can route every sound to a separate mixer channel — perfect for full control during mixing (the setup depends on your DAW, of course).
