Whether you’re a musician, podcaster, or remote session organizer, SonoBus offers a revolutionary solution for high-quality, low-latency audio streaming over the internet or local networks. This free, open-source application simplifies the process of connecting multiple users in real-time, enabling dynamic audio experiences without the hassle of complex setups.

Seamless Connectivity

SonoBus operates on a peer-to-peer basis, allowing users to stream audio directly between devices. Setting up is straightforward: just choose a unique group name (with an optional password), and instantly link participants together. This versatility makes it ideal for musicians jamming across continents, podcasters conducting interviews remotely, or collaborators producing music tracks in sync.

Key Features

Optimal Setup

To maximize SonoBus’ performance, a wired ethernet connection to your router is recommended for minimal latency and optimal audio quality. While WiFi is supported, it may introduce network jitter and packet loss, necessitating adjustments to maintain a stable connection.

Security Considerations

It’s important to note that SonoBus currently does not utilize encryption for data communication. While the risk of interception is low due to its peer-to-peer architecture, users should exercise caution when transmitting sensitive information.
