This plugin is a sequencer gate that allows you to chop up any incoming audio signal, creating unique and dynamic rhythmic effects. Another feature I love about A1TriggerGate is the presence of integrated effects like Low-pass Filter, Drive/Distortion, and Echo/Delay. These effects are designed to be simple to use, with a minimal number of parameters to quickly achieve the desired result. And if I want to step through the presets without hearing the integrated effects, I can use the Global FX Off switch. This little feature is a real lifesaver for professionals who want to focus solely on the rhythmic sequence.
Expert Mode
For those who like to delve deeper, Expert Mode offers four pattern command tabs: Shift Left/Right, Copy & Paste, Random, and Init. These commands can be applied to step volume values, step length values, or both. The Random command on step length values, in particular, has given me interesting and unexpected results, becoming a continuous source of inspiration.
