AI-Enhanced Tools

New AI-driven tools join Smart Tempo and the Pitch Correction plug-in to elevate your creativity:

  • Bass Player and Keyboard Player now complement Drummer, completing a suite of AI-powered Session Players that make it easy to create performances tailored to your direction.
  • Session Players can follow the same chord progression using the Global Chord Track.
  • Infuse any track with warmth using ChromaGlow, an advanced plug-in featuring five saturation models designed to emulate the sound of vintage analog hardware*.
  • Use Stem Splitter to separate a stereo audio file into stems for vocals, drums, bass, and other elements*.
  • Session Players, ChromaGlow, and Stem Splitter are also available on Logic Pro for iPad 2, ensuring seamless project transitions between Logic Pro for Mac and iPad.

Sound Library

  • Play any of six deeply sampled acoustic and electric basses with Studio Bass.
  • Loops containing chord tags will automatically populate the Chord Track when added to a project.
  • Explore three new Producer Packs: Hardwell, The Kount, and Cory Wong.
  • The original multitrack project of “Swing!” by Ellie Dixon is available as an in-app demo song.

Spatial Audio

  • Downmix and trim options enable custom mixing for non-Atmos channel configurations.
  • Exported ADM BWF files have been enhanced to support stereo and other multichannel formats beyond Dolby Atmos.

Enhancements

  • Bounce in place now includes automatic real-time recording for External Instrument regions or tracks utilizing Logic’s I/O plug-in.
  • Route MIDI generated by supported software instruments and effects to the input of other tracks for creative layering during playback or recording.
  • Improve editing efficiency with new key commands for moving, extending, or resizing marquee selections.
